"Viper Studios,
Audio Production Services in New York
will recommend and purchase your products
for future installations. Guaranteed.
GIK's acoustic panels have worked out
great. We knew going in that treatment
was necessary, but finding the right
product was challenging. The right sound
technology, acoustic treatment and sound
design and technicians really makes
the difference. We had all 4 elements.
We outfitted a total of 12 GIK 244's
in this auditorium. 4 244's per each
under balcony seating area (x3). Once
installed, surface reflections that
needed to be controlled were no longer
an issue. Each audience member seated
in these 3 areas now experience direct
sound reinforcement without experiencing
listening fatigue.
We've seen facility and students just
walking in saying "Wow! what did
they do!. I can actually hear them!!"
(Meaning the students). The administration,
parents and students of this High School
are very happy with the results. Another
satisfied Viper customer is one for
life.
Since then, I've had several industry
associates experience this auditorium
with NEXO PS10 & PS15 speaker and
processing technology and CAMCO amplification.
They are amazed at the sound they are
experiencing with just 5 NEXO speakers
in a 1,447 seat auditorium.

"Just
had to say something about the wonderful
experience I had dealing with Glen and
Bryan (Anthony too) at GIK acoustics.
I worked closely with Brian throughout
the planing stages of the room treatment
for my new studio. His knowledge and
willingness to spend countless hours
fitted in around his vacation prooved
invalueable. Together we came up with
room treatment that not only tamed the
acoustics but added to the client appeal
as well.
Glen brought it all together with
a high level of quality, at a price
that challanges anyone in that field.
Anthony worked overtime to put it all
on my doorstep in record time. These
folks are a pleasure to work with and
get my highest recomendation for anyone
looking to treat any kind of acoustic
enviroment, be it big budget or small.
Thanx again guys for a job well done."

"I came
across the GIK Acoustic Panels and just
had to give them a try. As a manufacturer
of studio monitoring systems we are always
looking for complimentary products that
can help our customers get the optimal
performance from our products. Although
often overlooked by first time studio
monitor buyers, room acoustics is a critical
part of creating an accurate monitoring
"system" (system = room acoustics
+ monitors). GIK Acoustic Panels provide
an extremely cost effective broadband
acoustic absorption solution that not
only works well, but is easy to install
and looks good. I would highly recommend
the GIK panels for anyone that is serious
about getting the most out of their monitoring
system. At this price point, this product
is hard to beat.
Thanks Glenn for the outstanding service." www.abluesky.com

"As
a professional recording and mixing engineer
I have projects ranging from independent
to major labels. I rely on accuracy and
precision to get my job done. I am completely
sold on GIK Panels. They provide me with
great room control and give me comfort
that I am getting my job done accurately.
When I first put the panels up I noticed
an immediate difference in my rooms. They
make a great addition to my newly renovated
Studio A and simply look GREAT!!! Thank
You Again For The Panels. I Will Be Back
For More!!!!"

"I
got the panels hung and WOW, what a difference.
The first song I played, my ears felt
funny. They were so used to hearing all
the sound bouncing around the room, that
when the sound only came from the front,
they had to adjust. After that, it was
sonic nirvana. I thought I had some acoustic
issues, but I never realized just how
much they were smearing the sound. Now,
I hear detail that I never knew was there
before, such as backup singers and distinct
voices. Cymbals seem more "metallic"
now, as well as the rest of the music
just sounding more "real". On
the lower end, I am getting more lower,
cleaner bass. The panels in the corners
help to clean it up, and without all the
reflections of sound, I am able to turn
up the volume more which lets more bass
come out of the speakers. The soundstage
and image tightened up and now the sounds
are more pinpoint than they were before.
Guests in my HT will never ask me 'where's
the bass?' anymore. On the home theater
front, my fronts always seemed to over-power
the rears, I never could get a decent
rear sound field. That's gone, every movie
I watch, I hear what's going on behind
me as well as in front of me. If my room
was totally dedicated for surround sound,
I could easily see adding 3 to 4 more
panels just in the rear to soak up more
reflections. Since I primarily use the
room for music (2 channel,) I wanted to
keep the room livelier than most would
want for home theater. All in all, I would
rate this as a significant upgrade to
my system, I would liken it to making
a serious jump up within the same brand
of equipment, i.e. upgrading to a much
better speaker or wire in the same product
line. The sound is the same, it is just
much, much better."

"When
construction began for my studio about
a year ago, my first concern was acoustic
treatment. In the past, I have used the
foam stuff and was not pleased at all.
In my search for something better, I was
excited to find a few different companies
that make bass traps/broadband absorbers.
My excitement quickly wore off when I
saw the price tag. I just simply couldn't
afford to treat my studio at their prices.
I began looking into the foam stuff again
because I though it would be my only option.
After some more searching, I was happy
to find GIK Acoustic Panels at a much
more affordable price. Now, I am able
to treat my studio like I want to, rather
than resorting to foam products because
of cost. I am very happy with what the
GIK Acoutic Panels have done in my drum
and guitar rooms. The drums are tighter
and the guitars are more focused. I plan
to order more GIK panels for my vocal
and control rooms. Aside from the acoustic
benefits, they look great and can often
be mistaken for art rather than acoutsic
treatment. I'm glad I found GIK before
I gave in and put foam up all over the
studio. Thanks!"
