The GIK 242 Acoustic Panel is professionally
manufactured for a sharp and crisp appearance
just like the GIK 244. Ideally mounted at
first and secondary reflection points in
a room the GIK 242 Acoustic Panel has the
same equal absorption as the GIK 244 from
4000Hz down to 250Hz. When mounted at a
45-degree angle in the corner, it is 60%
more effective than corner fill foam bass
traps.
The GIK 242 ideally is used in combination
with all other GIK products. We recommend
mounting the GIK 244 Acoustic Panel or Monster
Trap in each corner and troubled low-end
spots in the room with the GIK 242 mounted
at the first and secondary reflection points.
This combination is an effective way to
fine-tune a room.
Panels come with a wire in the back and
can be mounted like a picture frame.
