Comb filtering and slap echo can cause problems with hearing proper detail, vocal clarity, and response cancellations. Diffusion is an excellent solution for those problems. In addition, diffusion gives a sense of spaciousness to your music (or recording room) by addressing those issues without deadening it too much.

In the past, diffusors have either been so shallow that they're ineffective on mid and lower frequencies, used random shapes that offer no mathematical diffusion resulting in uneven scattering or they've been so expensive that they're not a viable solution for many users. Some are also just plain ugly. GIK comes to the rescue again.

The GIK QRD is 7 root diffusor design that begins scattering at approx 350Hz and offers effective and even diffusion up through 3 kHz. The QRD Pro offers additional scattering up to the upper limit of approximately 7 kHz.
