Local Pickup Information

We've made local pickup easier than ever for those who live close to one of our factories and are ordering a few panels. Now, you can specify at checkout whether or not you want to pick up at our manufacturing plant in Atlanta, Georgia, should you have the means and the inclination. If you have a vehicle large enough to pick up the panels, you can save a bit on shipping costs, but remember: local pickup is a service we offer for convenience. It is NOT designed for you to arrange your own shipper. Please keep reading to ensure a factory pickup is the best option for your order.

Pickup Date

Because all of our products are made-to-order, please be flexible regarding the date you receive for the estimate of product completion. As that date approaches, please check with orders@gikacoustics.com to see if we are on target. We will call and email you when your order is ready for pick up. Please don’t come before that, because your order will not be completed.

Vehicles

Since our panels are large, it is best to bring a large enough vehicle to transport your order. More than a few panels will need a large truck or van. 

Packing/Boxing

Bring a packing blanket or something you can lay down to protect your panels, as we do not box panels that are being picked up. Packaging material cost is included with the shipping charge. If you are picking up and wish the panels to be boxed, there will be a per-box surcharge. If boxes are requested, contact orders@gikacoustics.com to complete the additional payment and let us know beforehand, as it takes time to box your order.

Loading

The best option is to park at our front entrance, since we have a blocked loading dock. For safety reasons, our staff will bring the panels into the lobby, but the customer is responsible for loading their own panels.
