Ceiling Cloud Brackets

The ceiling is one of the most underutilized surfaces for acoustic treatment, in part because installing panels there is more labor-intensive than wall mounting. Mounted acoustic ceiling panels play a key role in improving acoustic insulation, controlling reverberation, and minimizing first reflections from the ceiling to your ears. With the proper mounting hardware, you can turn your ceiling into a powerful sound-control surface in commercial spaces and home rooms alike. A suspended ceiling cloud is far more reliable than adhesive mounting or impaling clips that can fail.

Each bracket set mounts directly to the ceiling with just two fasteners, minimizing impact on your drywall or other ceiling surface. The brackets create a consistent 4″ air gap, giving the ceiling panels a "floating" look and better results.

This air gap enhances performance by increasing sound absorption efficiency compared to a flush mount. Sound waves pass through the panel, reflect off the ceiling, and pass through again at full velocity, increasing energy absorbed. The ceiling height and ceiling drop are fixed by the bracket design, so every panel hangs at the same consistent depth. Use the thickest panels you can tolerate for the best low-frequency performance, along with corner bass traps and other devices as part of a broader treatment strategy.
