The room is 5.5 m x 4.1 m x 3m high; which are ideal ratios, but has bad acoustics because of the wall properties. The goal is to use GIK Acoustics products to treat the room to tame low-end frequencies. GIK VersiFusors and Monster Bass Traps are installed on the front wall and GIK Tri-Trap Corner Bass Traps© are stacked in the corners. GIK Soffit Bass Traps© are positioned around the room between the ceiling and walls. On the back wall, 5 GIK Scopus Tuned Membrane Bass Traps are installed above 5 GIK Monster Bass Traps.

Testing shows the frequency response is greatly improved and decay times are significantly reduced.

Listen to the difference between the treated and untreated room.

Even the owner, Lubos Kubias, is surprised at the difference from the acoustic treatment of his room and how GIK Acoustics brought his sound to life. “The two days we spent constructing are worth it, because like Zalan said the sound difference is huge and I am very happy.”
