This video provides product information for the GIK Acoustics 244 Bass Trap. Descriptions of size, color options, placement and construction are presented.
The GIK Acoustics 244 Bass Trap is a broadband bass trap and is the “go to” absorber for studios, home theaters, control rooms and listening rooms. The 244 Bass Trap is suitable for any environment as it deals with most low end acoustic problems.
The basic dimensions of the 244 Bass Trap are 24” x 48” x 5.5” or 610mm x 1220mm x 90mm and each panel weighs 14 pounds or 6.4kg. The 244 Bass Trap is designed with a built-in air gap for low end control and is constructed with the highest quality, professional materials that will stand the test of time. Visit the product page.
The 244 Bass Traps can be placed in a variety of positions for effective bass control: behind the monitors, directly above the mix spot, on the side walls, as well in corners. The 244 Bass Trap is constructed with a two frame system which allows for easy installation either on a flat surface or in corners. If you prefer movable or free-standing product, you can add our Custom Metal Stands or affix the 244 to your boom stand with our Boom Stand Brackets.
The 244 Bass Trap is perfect for keeping life in your room. After installation, Scott Underwood from the band Train commented, “They have made my home studio a joy to work in.”
If you want absorption coupled with scattering, you can opt to have the GIK Acoustics Scatter Plate built into your 244 Bass Trap to further balance out the room. Simply place the 244 Bass Traps into your shopping cart, then go to the Scatter Plate page and select “244 Bass Trap” as the product you want the plate added to.
As with all our products, the 244 Bass Trap employs ECOSE technology which is easy on air quality for your room, the environment, and your budget.
