From the Gallery
Search for an image that will fit the full size of the face of the panel.
Be Aware: Some images in the gallery may not completely cover the entire panel, so make sure there is no white space when you submit your design.
Uploading Your Own
300 dpi (dots per inch) to size recommended, but we will accept down to 72 dpi to size.
When uploading your own image, you may encounter trouble making the image large enough to fit the entire front of the panel. The reason for this is because your image is simply not the right pixel size. We have created a chart at different DPI (dots per inch) and the number of pixels that are needed "to size."'
See the chart to the right in order to find the largest side (inches) and what the corresponding pixels should be to at least cover the panel.Back to art panels
|Size (ft)||Largest Side (in.)||Pixels (px)|
|size||x||@300 dpi||@150 dpi||@72 dpi|
We found that gallery wrapping means losing a lot of the image to the sides because the fabric is wrapped around the panel. And depending on the thickness, gallery wrapping takes up a lot of the image.
So we take an alternative to preserve the most of your image on the front of the panel: Mirrored sides.
The options to mirror or duplicate the image for the sides means more of the image is on the front of the panel and the fabric wrapped around the sides looks similar to the front image. Also, mirroring is what the majority of our customers prefer.
We can provide a blurred border at your request, but there will be a graphic design fee.
We want to make the process of buying an acoustic art panel easy, and after testing, we have found mirrored sides look best.See Frequently Asked Questions
